Resident Eligibility
Eligible applicants are accepted on the basis of their preparedness, ability, aptitude, academic credentials, communication skills, and personal qualities such as motivation and integrity. We do not discriminate with regard to sex, race, age, religion, color, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
We will consider all applicants who apply to our program via ERAS.
Only J1 Visa sponsorship will be considered.
Applications open annually on September 15th and close December 31st. Applications received after December 31st will not be considered.
Review Process
All completed applications are reviewed by the residency leadership and interviews are granted by invitation via ERAS. Applications are considered complete when all of the following criteria are met:
ERAS application form
Photograph

Three letters of recommendation: two of which should be “Standardized Letters of Evaluation” (SLOEs) from an Emergency Medicine rotation. Typically, applicants submit one SLOE from their home program and another from an away rotation. The third letter may come from a third-year core rotation, a mentor/advisor, or anyone of the applicants choosing.
Interview Process
Interview season occurs annually between October and January. Those applicants who are invited to interview can self-schedule via ERAS. Information regarding the pre-interview social will be emailed out approximately one week prior to your interview day.
